GIVING DIRECTIONS PRACTICE

Here you have 2 examples of different tracks for giving directions for you to practice. 

Below, you will find the solutions. Good luck!

 

SOLUTION 1 (BLACK): "How can I get from the sports centre to the football stadium?"
- First, go towards the river (or towards the East) and go straight on. Then, turn left at the theatre (or the mansion). Next, go straight on and turn right at the hairdresser's (or the bus stop). Finally, go straight on and you will find (or you will see) the football stadium on your left.


SOLUTION 2 (RED): "How can I get from the market to the factory?"
- First, go towards the river (or towards the East) and go straight on. Then, go past between the hospital and the police station and turn left. Next, go straight on up to the football stadium and turn right. Finally, go through the bridge (or cross the river), go straight on and you will find (or will see) the factory.

 

Pupils at 2nd level went to the theatre (May). We saw Georgina and the dragon. It was fantastic and we had a great time.

Pupils at 1st level went to the theatre (May). We saw Little Red. It was fantastic and we had a great time.

Pupils at 4th level went to the theatre (6th May). We saw Billy Banjo. It was fantastic and we had a great time.

On the 21st May, pupils at 1st level saw Little Red.
We had a great time!

On the 29th of January, pupils at 6th level went to the theatre.

We were terrified because we saw FRANKENSTEIN! But the truth is that it was very funny!!

"The Sea" An English play at the school!

Next Wednesday, P4 and P5 will watch a play, in English, at the school! The name is "THE SEA", an adventure with a family of fish (baby fish, mommy fish, daddy fish), a fish called Goldilocks, a starfish, an octopus, turtles, sharks and pirates!!!
